So just now a cranefly decided to invade my privacy and take up residence in my bathroom, but then it wanted out. Then it decided to try and avoid capture and release. THEN after I finally carry out said capture and release, it decides nah, it likes my house after all and flies STRAIGHT back in, upon which it realizes hey, it really wants to be outside. So after much struggle, a second capture and release is performed, with me triple-checking that the idiot creature didn’t make its way back inside.
This all happened at 1:00 am.
My hatred for craneflies has risen to an all-time high.
I really am too soft with the loathsome beasts.

Saw We Bought A Zoo
It’s a fantastic movie. Great story, great shooting, great quotes, so well told. I almost teared up at one point. I think I’m growing soft.
And for some reason I got attracted to the soundtrack. It’s very different from what I’m normally drawn to; I tend to like the really intense, dramatic, Hans Zimmer scores. This was a very simple score by the Icelandic Jonsi, but I found it to be beautiful. Looks like it’s going on my soundtrack wishlist.
Anyway- for all you people out there, no matter who you are, it’s a must-see. And the little girl is adorable. I seriously want that to be my future child.
